Nova Headless E-Commerce

The Challenge

The client suffered from slow page loading speeds (averaging 3.5s) on their legacy WooCommerce setup, which directly resulted in a 40% cart abandonment rate. High traffic spikes during sales caused regular system dropouts.

Architectural Solution

We built a serverless React/Next.js frontend using static incremental generation to cache product layouts at the edge. The database was migrated to Supabase with PostgreSQL indexing, connected to a custom Stripe cart API webhook listener.
